Order the chicken and waffles or crab mac and cheese for something different, or check out the steak frites and duck fat fried potato wedges for the carb lovers.

From chicken scaloppini to bruschetta to crab stuffed mushrooms to Sicilian shrimp fettucine, Kelly’s is the best place to eat in Addison when you want some Italian comfort food.

It’s got total first date or anniversary vibes, with candlelit ambiance, and the staff will absolutely blow you away with how helpful they are (this is one of my favorite reasons we go often).

The prices are so reasonably for the quality of food you get, and if you have allergies or dietary needs like gluten free, they’re happy to help cater for those with a smile on their faces.

Seriously, do not miss Kenny’s Italian Kitchen when in Addison.

3. Lupe Tortilla Mexican

We went here on Friday during lunch time. The service was so attentive, pleasant and fast. We got our drinks and chips and salsa. Their chips are the best I’ve had.

This Tex-Mex chain is always on point with their menu, and the rustic décor make you feel like you’re having a dining experience rather than just eating in a cold chain restaurant.

The chips are some of the absolute best around (and the salsa and guac are top notch), but they really shine when it comes to their fajitas with giant flour tortillas and the Tres Leches cake for dessert.

Try the loaded queso for the table, or enjoy the carne asada if you’re a meat lover.

4. Zoli’s NY Pizza

Pizza lovers need to head to Zoli’s ASAP, as the New York style pizza in Addison is one of the best things to eat in Addison, and of course there’s always the pizza of the month if you want to try something new.

I still dream about the garlic bread, to be honest.

Star Wars fans will love the theme of this restaurant (Zoli’s is the name of a Star Wars ship), and everyone in the family will fall in love with their menu, which also features things like brisket lasagna and penne alla vodka if you prefer something different to pizza.

5. Nate’s Seafood and Steakhouse

Nate’s is the greatest seafood place with good prices. The employees are very friendly and take time to talk to you as if they have known you a long time.

I love Nate’s for a reasonably priced, down-home seafood place with friendly employees that treat you like family.

The boiled crawfish is a 10/10, and the bar area is great for grabbing drinks with friends.

It’s all Cajun-style, meaning the catfish po-boy is highly recommended, and of course there are fried pickles, crab fingers, gumbo, and more.

Service is always fast, whether it’s lunch or dinner, and if you have any ties to Louisiana, you’ll definitely feel like you’ve come home.

Welcome to Gloria’s, a restaurant featuring Salvadoran and Tex-Mex cuisine with the best black bean dip you’ll ever have and a friendly service team.

There are multiple locations in the area, but the Addison one gets great reviews for their bar drinks and beautiful interior.

Order the shrimp and steak fajitas for something classic, or go for the ceviche trio or chimichanga.

Celebrate a birthday here or just gather for some drinks – I recommend trying the mango margarita.

This chophouse in Addison is elegant, yet welcoming (no stuffiness here), featuring favorites like the half pound crab cake, truffle butter, and NY strip.

Get the martinis to start, then try the creamed spinach, wood grilled oysters, or surf and turf.

The food here is always delicious and the service is some of the best around.

It’s super popular for celebrations, so make sure to make a reservation, and don’t forget to leave room for the dessert because the brownies with ice cream is my personal favorite way to finish off the meal.

Vidorras is a great bar and restaurant in Addison, featuring fish tacos, sirloin burritos, and molcajete bowls.

The queso is a must-try, and there’s a nice patio seating area as well.

At night, this is one of the most happening places on the weekend, with a club like atmosphere, music playing, and a trendy crowd that knows where to find the best things to do in Addison.

The frozen margarita is my personal favorite, and you can usually get appetizers half off during happy hour (just a tip!)

10. Yard House

This sports bar chain in Addison is a great place to watch the game while enjoying a variety of beers and special cocktails, as well as a big menu with salads, sandwiches, burgers and more.

The firecracker shrimp is awesome, as is the watermelon margarita, but my husband likes the wings the most.

There are some unique options on the menu, like whiskey glazed salmon and Nashville chicken and pancakes, or you can dive into a classic burger and onion rings if you know what you like.

11. Awake

This breakfast spot is great, from the service to the food. And the staff was very great! There was not a wait time, so we sat down immediately. I had the chicken and avocado omelette which was awesome!

Check out Addison’s best breakfast place at Awake – my favorite options with friends.

Whether you order the Texas Steak skillet, sunnyside eggs, waffles, omelette, or something else entirely, it’s a nice sunny atmosphere to enjoy yourselves and the best part?

These incredible tacos are some of the best in the Dallas area, with high quality ingredients and lots of sides like queso blanco and chips, elote guac and chips, crispy tots, and brisket nachos.

The service is fantastic, and the blue corn chips are amazing with all of their options.

The tacos are all special and different and they’re open late night so you can finish your night out here in Addison.

No frills, just great food – yes, please.

Loro Addison is where Asian-inspired cuisine meets BBQ, and you definitely have to try it if you’re in the mood for something unique.

The brisket is highly recommended by everyone who tries it, and their outdoor seating is great for a nice day.

You can mix any of the drinks you want, and my personal favorite is the smoked baby back duroc pork ribs – but everything comes out quick and fresh.

The salmon dip is excellent, and the pulled pork tostadas are another must-try.

14. Blue Mesa Grill

Try the Seafood mixed grilled or Mesa Sampler, with sides of sweet potato chips and tortilla chips, or enjoy the tacos and adobe pie.

On Sundays, there’s a brunch buffet with incredible food (and great variety), and I could eat vats of their queso daily.

Blue Mesa Grill is a great place to host an event, or just to take the family out after church on Sunday.

If you’re veggie, they’ve got plenty of options for you as well (the veggie fajitas are my favorite).

15. Lazy Dog Restaurant & Bar

Try the tuna entre or the chicken katsu bowl at one of Addison’s coolest family restaurants.

The fried chicken sandwich and chicken and shrimp alfredo are also stars of the menu.

There’s a nice outdoor dining area where dogs are allowed, or sit inside and enjoy the lodge style atmosphere.

I still dream of the garlic parmesan chips, as well as the bison burger.

Try it for brunch if you prefer brunchy/breakfast foods and want to finish everything off with a mimosa delivered to your table with a smile!
